Distribution:

from Afghanistan to Japan and southwards throughout Tropical Asia as far south as Australia

Wingspan:

In between 5,4 and 8 cm

Season:

In captivity continuously (when kept warm)

Food plants:

in general Onagraceae (Oenothera, Epilobium, Fuchsia, Clarkiae, ...), Vitaceae (Vitis, Cissus, Ampelopsis, ...), Araceae (Zantedeschia, Alocasia, Colocasia, ...) and Impatiens

Rearing:

Child's play. Very easy and fast growing (full grown in less then a month). Keep in well ventilated plastic containers. The pupal stage is short, only a few weeks at room temperature
