Cameroon, Gabon, Central African Republic, Congo (RDC)

9 to 11 cm

probably two flights annually,  in captivity more or less continuously

Food plants:

Salix caprea and cinerea,

Difficult, not suitable for newcomers. Keep in spacious, well ventilated plastic containers. Watch out for condensation and do not give wet leaves. Make sure the food is very clean and fresh.  Do not overcrowd. Keep the temperature above 25°C during the day and not below 15°C at night. This species becomes very unhappy and sickly with lower temperatures.  Keep a stable humidity (not too high, not too low, but always at a constant level).
