in between 12 and 14 cm

Season:

continuously when kept warm

Food plants:

Crataegus, Liquidambar, Eucalyptus gunnii, Rosa

Rearing:

Not difficult when kept at room temperature and clean. Keep the first 3 instars in well ventilated plastic containers and move to a netted cage when older.  Never give wet leaves, do not spray. Somewhat slower growing,  ready to pupate within 6 to 7 weeks. The pupal stage in between flights is short (approximately  3  weeks). The warmer the faster they develop. 

Difficulties:

does not diapause, rearing during winter months can be more complicated
