Not difficult when kept at room temperature and clean. Keep the first 3 instars in well ventilated plastic containers and move to a netted cage when older. Never give wet leaves, do not spray. Somewhat slower growing, ready to pupate within 6 to 7 weeks. The pupal stage in between flights is short (approximately 3 weeks). The warmer the faster they develop.
