Rearing:

An easy species and fast growing for a Lappet. The caterpillars start spinning their cocoons already after 4 to 5 weeks. Moths emerge 3 to 4 weeks later. Keep in spacious, well ventilated plastic containers in all stages or move to a netted cage when older.  When in a netted cage they are more tolerant for moist, in a plastic container things should be kept dry at all times. Keep warm (summer temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius during the day are best, do not go below 15 degrees at night).

none
