only recently (2018) described from western Colombia
28- 40 mm
broods continuously in captivity
Morus species are preferred, older caterpillars reluctantly accept Ficus benjamina (however growth becomes much slower)
very easy. Because of the small size best kept in small, well ventilated, plastic containers. Keep warm. The life cycle is fast. The caterpillars are fully grown in 21 -25 days. Pupal stage is equally short (approximately 10 days).
