Distribution:

west part of the United States (Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho)

Wingspan:

in between 4,5 and 5,5 cm

Season:

one flights, from (mid) December to early April (depending on local conditions). The pupae overwinter

Food plants:

Onagraceae (Clarkia, Camissonia, Oenothera, Epilobium, 

Rearing:

fast growing. Caterpillars are ready to pupate within less then 5 weeks. Keep around 20°C during the day and cooler at night, dry, clean and in well ventilated plastic containers.
