Agrius

The six species in the Agrius genus are related to Acherontia and Coelonia. One species occurs in the Americas, four in the Indopacific region and one is widespread throughout Africa, Eurasia and Australia. They are fairly large hawk moths and common in many regions.

The rearing is easy as long as you keep everything clean. The caterpillars of most species are variable in color and exist in green, brown and sometimes black forms.
