Archaeoattacus

The four members of the Archaeoattacus genus occur in the warmer parts of continental Asia, south to Malaysia. These are very large moths, in appearance very similar to members of the Attacus genus.

The rearing is not extremely difficult, however some experience is required. The species somewhat more often available in Europe is Archaeoattacus edwardsii. The other members are much harder to obtain.
