Rearing:

Not a difficult species when you have the plants. Keep warm (room temperature is the absolute minimum) and clean in spacious, well ventilated plastic containers. Ready to pupate in 5 to 7 weeks, depending on temperature and quality of the food plant (slower during winter months). Does not diapause.

Difficulties:

can be more difficult to rear during winter months
