Prorifrons is a genus of fairly large Lappets occurring in Central and South America. The early stages of many of the 26 described species (LepIndex) are still unknown. If they look like the caterpillars of tremula then their final instars are large and hairy. In case of tremula for exemple up to eleven centimeter.

Rearing isn't very easy though.
