Bombycopsis

Bombycopsis is a large African genus of approximately 80 species (the number can still go up or down, depending whether Bufoidia is included or considered as a separate genus and how many of these species turn out to be synonyms. The members of this genus are small(er) to medium sized moths.

Rearing these species seems to be pretty straightforward. The most difficult part is finding a suitable food plant. For many species they are not known yet. The caterpillars of many members are quite colorful.
