Palirisa

¨Palirisa is a small genus with only eight members. They occur in southeast Asia. The moths are fairly large with a wingspan around ten centimeter.

Only Palirisa cervina is seen more often in captivity, especially the formosana subspecies. Be advised though that these creature are rather difficult to rear and many have failed. Caterpillars grow slow and it might take up to six months before they pupate.
